The Supports Coordinator assists participants in obtaining and coordinating needed waiver and other State plan services, as well as housing, medical, social, vocational, and other community services, regardless of funding source.
WJS Psychological Associates was one of the very first agencies in Pennsylvania to become a provider of Supports Coordination. Our agency has been providing Supports Coordination services to Southwestern Pennsylvania’s adult autism population since 2009!
While the Adult Autism Waiver Program only requires Supports Coordinators to have a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or other related social sciences our Supports Coordinator has both a Master’s in Education and Master’s in Social Work. The Support s Coordinator supervisor has a Master’s degree in Special Education and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
